US Aerospace Parts Manufacturer Acquires Two Companies for Strategic Growth

TransDigm Group has agreed to acquire Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings for approximately $2.2 billion in cash. Based in Seattle, Jet Parts designs and manufactures proprietary replacement parts and repair solutions for commercial, regional, and cargo airlines, as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul providers. Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings, headquartered in Baldwin City, Kansas, supplies aftermarket parts and services across commercial aerospace and the general and business aviation markets through a portfolio of brands that includes McFarlane Aviation, Tempest Aero Group, and Aviation Products Systems. The combined companies generated approximately $280 million in revenue in 2025. CEO Mike Lisman said the acquisition aligns with TransDigm’s focus on engineered, proprietary aerospace components and aftermarket solutions.
