Taiwan-Based Carrier Expands Fleet with New Airbus Widebody Jet
STARLUX Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, marking a significant milestone for the Taiwan-based carrier. The new widebody jet features a unique ‘carbon-fiber motif’ and will initially operate on routes within Asia to build operational experience. With five more A350-1000s expected to arrive in 2026, STARLUX is poised to further expand its fleet and enhance its long-haul services. According to AeroTime, the airline’s CEO, Chang Kuo-Wei, said that the new aircraft will ‘build operational experience’ on shorter routes before being deployed on longer flights.
