Qatari defense firm Barzan Holdings has teamed up with Emirate conglomerate EDGE Group to form a joint defense venture focused on developing defense platforms and technologies. The partnership will work on a range of areas, including missiles, unmanned systems, and satellites. EDGE Group CEO Hamad Al Marar emphasized the importance of trusted partnerships as the company expands internationally. The joint venture was announced at the DIMDEX naval expo in Qatar, where EDGE Group is exhibiting for the first time, showcasing its unmanned aerial systems and maritime platforms.
