New Policy Memos Unify Innovation Ecosystem Under Chief Technology Officer
The Pentagon has released three major policy memos aimed at overhauling and accelerating its technology efforts. The memos, announced by Secretary Pete Hegseth, unveil a range of new AI initiatives and continue an ongoing consolidation of independent innovation organizations under the control of the Defense Department’s chief technology officer, Under Secretary for Research & Engineering Emil Michael.
