Japanese Manufacturer Enters Service with Innovative Seaport Solution

MHI-TC has delivered a self-propelled mobile seaport passenger boarding bridge to Yokohama City, entering service on January 13th. The bridge features automated steering control and is compatible with large cruise ships. According to Mitsubishi Aircraft, the power supply can be generated by generators or land-based power when used as a bridge, making it environmentally friendly. This innovative solution may enhance the efficiency of cruise ship operations and reduce environmental impact.
