Marcel Bloch's Fighter Aircraft Before WWII

Early Years Of Dassault Aviation Explored In New Book

A new book, ‘Les avions Marcel Bloch - T3: Chasseurs et autres développements’, explores the development of Marcel Bloch’s fighter aircraft before World War II. The book covers the delivery of over 600 MB 151 and MB 152 aircraft to the French Army and Marcel Bloch’s refusal to collaborate with the Third Reich. After being deported in 1944, Marcel Bloch returned alive in 1945 and went on to rebuild his company, eventually changing his name to Marcel Dassault in 1946. This marked the beginning of a new era for the company, which would become Dassault Aviation. The book was published by Collection Histoire de l’Aviation n°47, according to Dassault Aviation.
