Airline Enhances Premium Experience on Long-Haul Aircraft
Lufthansa has announced plans to upgrade its Airbus A380 fleet with new business class seats, set to be retrofitted at Elbe Flugzeugwerke in Dresden. The program, starting February 2026, aims to enhance the premium experience on long-haul flights. Lufthansa operates the only strong A380 fleet in the EU and will feature 68 new business class seats per aircraft. The airline’s Boeing 747-8s and Airbus A350-900s are also set for upgrades across all classes.
