Inflight Connectivity Firm Partners with Satellite Operator and Avionics Provider

LEO Inflight Broadband Services to Expand Low-Cost Airline Market

AeroTime reports that Immfly, in partnership with satellite operator Eutelsat’s OneWeb and avionics provider Gogo, aims to offer high-speed broadband connectivity through LEO satellites. The deal is targeted at the low-cost and ultra-low-cost airline market. According to Immfly, a full installation on a narrow-body aircraft can be completed within 24-30 hours. This process involves fitting the aircraft with an Immfly’s Equilux Aero server and Gogo’s Plane Simple electronically steered antenna (ESA). The partnership brings together the core competencies of all three firms: Immfly’s expertise in entertainment and retail services, Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO satellite constellation, and Gogo’s next-generation ESA technology. Immfly plans to launch the service before the end of 2026.
