Hawaiian Airlines has announced a $600 million investment program aimed at transforming its passenger experience over the next five years. The Kahu’ewai Hawai’i Investment Plan will cover most of the airline’s customer touchpoints, from aircraft interiors to IT platforms. In connection with this project, Hawaiian Airlines will acquire three A330s currently on lease and introduce new business class seats and a premium economy cabin. The carrier is also investing in enhancing its airport facilities, including the construction of a new flagship lounge at Honolulu base.
