France Demonstrates Agile Combat Employment in Northern Europe
The French Air and Space Force has deployed two Dassault Rafale fighters to Uppsala, Sweden, as part of its Agile Combat Employment concept. The deployment, which includes around 30 personnel, aims to test the Rafale F4.1 standard in cold weather conditions and conduct a joint flight with the Swedish air forces. The exercise reflects France’s push to validate rapid dispersal of high-value assets and sustained operations from alternate locations. According to the French Air and Space Force, the deployment is part of its national implementation of NATO’s Agile Combat Employment logic, known as MORANE. This was first reported by AeroTime.
