Historic Milestone For Finnish Air Force F-35 Capability Introduction
The Finnish Air Force has taken delivery of its first Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II, designated JF-501, at Ebbing Air National Guard Base in Arkansas. The aircraft’s arrival marks a significant milestone in the introduction of the F-35 capability to the Finnish Air Force. The first eight F-35s will be based at Ebbing for the practical phase of initial training, with deliveries of 64 aircraft scheduled through the second half of the decade. According to AeroTime, the Finnish Air Force will continue to receive training and deliveries of the F-35 in the coming years.
