European Defense Fund Backs PRECISE Program Amid Rising Tensions
The European Union has launched the PRECISE program, a European Defense Fund initiative aimed at developing artificial intelligence to protect critical infrastructure. Led by GMV, the project will create detailed 3D structural models of facilities and simulate potential attacks to mitigate them. The effort is funded with €15 million over four years and involves nine companies from five EU countries. The project’s goal is to deliver a working demo of the software, with further development to be determined. This development was first reported by Breaking Defense.
