Middle Eastern Carrier Expands European Network With New Route
Etihad Airways has announced the launch of nonstop flights between Luxembourg and Abu Dhabi, marking a milestone as the first Middle Eastern carrier to serve the country. The service, scheduled to begin on 29 October 2026, will feature three weekly direct flights using Etihad’s A321LR aircraft, offering a premium three-class cabin. According to Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves, the route is about building new bridges between Europe and the UAE, unlocking opportunities for business, tourism, and cultural exchange.
