Aviation University Celebrates Milestone with Ethiopian Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines has celebrated the graduation of 457 aviation professionals from its owned academic center, Ethiopian Aviation University. The graduating class includes 58 pilots, 115 aircraft maintenance technicians, and 284 cabin crew members from 12 countries. According to Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew, the university has been a key factor in the airline’s success for decades. The graduation ceremony was held at the university campus, attended by Ethiopian Airlines Group officials. AeroTime reports that Ethiopian Aviation University is recognized as a Regional Training Center of Excellence by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
