Airline Secures Superjumbo Fleet Future With Five-Year Extension
Emirates has secured a five-year lease extension for two Airbus A380s with DS Aviation, a subsidiary of Dr. Peters Group. The extension, announced in January 2025, includes an option for Emirates to purchase the aircraft at the end of each extension period. This move signals Emirates’ commitment to the A380 and allows the airline to continue operating the superjumbo well into the next decade.
