Italian Space Logistics Specialist Expands Orbital Capabilities
Italian space logistics specialist D-Orbit has announced the first closing of a $124 million Series D investment round. The funding will be used to accelerate the build-out of D-Orbit’s orbital logistics infrastructure, expand in-orbit transportation services, and scale industrial capacity for ION missions. This investment round may enable D-Orbit to further establish itself as a key player in the commercial space logistics market. The funding was announced by D-Orbit on Jan. 22, as reported by SpaceNews.
