Singapore Airport Expands Infrastructure For Future Terminal
Changi Airport Group has unveiled an underground people-mover system that will connect the future Terminal 5 and Terminal 2 within four minutes. The automated system will operate similarly to the existing Skytrain, with trains running every four to eight minutes. The system is part of Singapore’s massive airport expansion infrastructure, which includes the construction of Terminal 5, set to increase the airport’s capacity to 140 million passengers annually. The expansion was announced by Changi Airport Group during a local press event, as reported by AeroTime.
