New Alaskan Carrier Expands Regional Air Travel Options
Alaska’s new airline brand, Argentum Airways, has launched its first revenue flight between Anchorage and Kenai. The carrier is a brand of Aleutian Airways, a joint venture between Alaska Seaplanes and Sterling Airways, and aims to target a broader market across the Arctic state. With Alaska relying heavily on air travel for mobility, the launch of Argentum Airways may help fill the gap left by the bankruptcy of local operators. The airline’s launch was first reported by AeroTime.
