Spanish Government Boosts Demand for Airbus Helicopters' Civil and Military Aircraft

Airbus Helicopters saw a significant increase in orders in 2025, with 544 gross orders (net: 536) secured compared to 455 in 2024. The surge was driven largely by the Spanish government’s order for 100 helicopters through the Directorate General for Armament and Material (DGAM). Other notable orders included Germany activating an option for additional H145Ms and Greece ordering Super Puma H215s for firefighting duties. Airbus Helicopters’ CEO Bruno Even attributed the company’s outstanding performance to its modern civil and military portfolios delivering precise mission capabilities.
