Iconic Super Transporter Retires After Three Decades
Airbus’ last active BelugaST is set to perform its final flight on January 29, 2026, after more than three decades of service. The iconic cargo aircraft has been customized to carry oversized cargo between Airbus production plants across Europe. The BelugaST has been progressively replaced by the BelugaXL since 2020, which offers 30% more space and range. The final flight will include a fly-past over North Wales before landing at Hawarden airport, as reported by AeroTime.
