Hungarian Low-Cost Carrier Expands to Israel Amid Growing Demand
Wizz Air plans to launch its first route from Israel to Budapest in March 2026, with flights from Ramon Airport (ETM) expected to commence in March. The airline will create two new bases at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) and Ramon Airport (ETM). As part of the deal, Wizz Air will operate domestic flights between the airports. AeroTime reports that the Hungarian low-cost carrier’s growth plan includes setting up bases at these airports, with a long-term vision of expanding its network to around 60 daily flights across the country.
