Wisk Aero Advances Autonomous Air Taxi Services with New Generation Aircraft

Wisk Aero has completed assembling its sixth-generation air taxi, marking the transition from building to flight-testing. According to Wisk, this marks the beginning of the next phase in proving the aircraft’s abilities in the air. The company has partnered with Liebherr to supply the actuation system and plans to expand services to additional markets over time. In a statement, CEO Sebastien Vigneron said that the aircraft is ‘getting really close to flying’ and that the inaugural flight is expected in late 2025 or early 2026.
