UK Drone Developer Windracers Expands Capabilities with Autonomous Technology

Windracers’ ULTRA MK2 drone has proven to be an extremely versatile and adept unmanned aerial vehicle, capable of traveling long distances and carrying heavy payloads. The company aims to produce 10 ULTRA drones each month in 2026 and 20 a month in 2027, and is exploring the potential of deploying its UAV across India. Windracers has gained approval from the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority to launch the country’s first international UAV flight for civil purposes, and is working with the UK Ministry of Defense and other partners to develop its technology.
