UK-Based Developer Launches Next-Gen Urban Air Mobility Solution

Vertical Aerospace has unveiled Valo, its latest eVTOL aircraft, designed for commercial service. The aircraft features a sleeker and sharper design than the VX4 prototype and is expected to enter service in 2028, following regulatory approval. Valo will initially launch with four passenger seats, with expansion to six seats possible. The aircraft’s platform also supports emergency medical services, cargo missions, and future defense, hybrid, and autonomous variants. According to AeroTime, Vertical Aerospace has entered the fourth and final flight test phase for its VX4 prototype and plans to build seven certification aircraft in the UK to support final testing with regulatory authorities.
