Vertical Aerospace Unveils Valo Electric eVTOL Aircraft

Vertical Aerospace Unveils Valo eVTOL with Optimized Design for Efficient Flight

Vertical Aerospace unveiled its new electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft Valo at an exclusive event in London’s Canary Wharf. The company’s CEO, Stuart Simpson, and UK Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, Darren Jones, were among the speakers. Vertical has around 1,500 pre-orders for the aircraft, which will be built to support final testing with the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. The Valo design has been optimized for efficiency and range, with a smaller fuselage and optimized propeller design. The aircraft will be able to carry a decent number of passengers and their baggage, making it suitable for feeder services into airports.
