Spain's Largest Helicopter Purchase to Modernize Defense and Security Assets
Spain’s Directorate General for Armament and Material has agreed to purchase 100 helicopters from Airbus for an estimated €4.5 billion ($5.3 billion). The order includes 50 H145M training and light attack aircraft, as well as 31 NH90, 13 H135, and six H175M helicopters. Deliveries are set to begin in 2027, with the potential for additional €500 million.
