Saudi Arabian Carrier Takes Flight with Boeing 787-9
Riyadh Air successfully completed its first Boeing 787-9 test flight, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s operational readiness. The flight, conducted by Boeing test pilots, took off from the manufacturer’s Charleston facility. Following completion of the full test program and receipt of required certifications, the process will advance to the next phase, with Riyadh Air’s own pilots conducting additional tests before the aircraft’s official delivery.
