PAL Makes Aviation History with Airbus A350-1000 Delivery in Southeast Asia

Philippine Airlines has received its first Airbus A350-1000 widebody aircraft, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s fleet modernization and global expansion strategy. The delivery was made by Airbus, with whom PAL has partnered for over 40 years. According to AeroTime, PAL President Richard Nuttall stated that the arrival of the A350-1000 will be a source of Filipino pride and a transformational step for the airline. The aircraft features a three-class configuration accommodating 382 passengers and is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. PAL plans to deploy the A350-1000 on its transpacific routes, expanding its network to major North American destinations with nonstop service.
