Turkish Carrier Extends Partnership with CFM International for Next-Gen LEAP Engines
Pegasus Airlines has signed a deal with CFM International for up to 300 LEAP-1B engines to power its future Boeing 737-10 fleet. The deal includes spare engines and long-term maintenance services. Pegasus Airlines has a long history with CFM International, dating back to 2016. The airline has been using CFM engines since its inception in 1990. The LEAP-1B engines will contribute to Pegasus Airlines’ 2030 CO reduction target and 2050 net-zero CO industry emissions goal. This is the largest single order in Pegasus Airlines’ history, following a significant increase in its outstanding A321neo order in 2023.
