Norway Boosts Ukraine's Air Defense Amid Ongoing Conflict
Norway has announced a $290 million military aid package for Ukraine, including F-16 fighter jet ammunition and S-300 surface-to-air missiles. The package is being delivered under the Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine and includes $90 million in funding for F-16 ammunition via the US procurement channel. Norway has previously supplied NASAMS air defense systems and interceptor missiles to Ukraine, but this new funding marks a significant expansion of its support. The decision was made by Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, who emphasized the need for continued military support from partners. The funding was first reported by AeroTime.
