Lufthansa Celebrates 100 Years with Unique Boeing 787-9 Design
Lufthansa has welcomed its first aircraft painted with a special anniversary livery to mark its 100th anniversary. The Boeing 787-9, registration D-ABPU, landed at Frankfurt International Airport on December 23, 2025, after its delivery from Boeing’s Everett plant. The airline plans to feature five more aircraft in the special livery throughout 2026.
