Lithuanian Airports reported disruptions to flights due to suspected cigarette-smuggling balloons entering the country’s airspace from Belarus. The estimated losses exceed €750,000, with more than 45,000 passengers affected. Vilnius Airport was closed for 11 hours in November 2025, impacting 7,400 passengers and 50 flights.
