Italian Aerospace Giant Lands Major Radar Contract for National Defense
Leonardo has been awarded a contract by TELEDIFE to develop and deliver four next-generation radars for Italy’s long-range ballistic missile defense. The radars, featuring AESA GaN technology, will provide early warning and tracking data for air and missile defense networks. The contract is part of Leonardo’s Michelangelo Dome concept, an integrated air and missile defense architecture. The company has not disclosed the contract value or delivery timeline.
