Fiji Airways has announced the launch of direct flights between Gold Coast Airport and Nadi International Airport, set to begin June 11, 2026. The new service marks a significant expansion of the airline’s Australian network, with three weekly flights operating on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The route will be serviced by the carrier’s Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, taking just over three hours. According to AeroTime, the addition is expected to bring 53,000 seats to the market annually, providing travelers with a more convenient connection between the two destinations. To mark the launch, Fiji Airways is offering special introductory return fares starting at FJ$799 ($350) from Fiji to the Gold Coast. The promotional fares are available for purchase until December 31, 2025, for select travel dates.
