China Eastern Airlines has launched the longest intercontinental flight in the world, connecting Shanghai and Buenos Aires via Auckland. The nonstop journey reduces travel time between China and South America by more than four hours. The flight, operated by a Boeing 777-39P(ER), showcases a special livery featuring China Eastern Airlines’ inaugural ‘National Museum of China’ themed design. According to China Eastern Airlines, the route will make travel between China, New Zealand, and Argentina easier and facilitate cultural dialogue among the three countries.
