Textron Aviation Delivers First Private Jet To Customer
Textron Aviation has confirmed the delivery of the first Cessna Citation Ascend to a retail customer, marking the official entry of the private jet into service. The aircraft, which was granted FAA type certification in November 2025, boasts an entirely new cockpit, improved performance, and a luxurious flat floor cabin. With a purchase price of $16.725 million, the Citation Ascend is positioned to redefine the midsize segment. The delivery was announced by Textron Aviation on New Year’s Eve, as reported by AeroTime.
