Canadian Government Invests in Canadian Aerospace Capabilities with New Global 6500 Aircraft
The Canadian government has placed a $400 million order with Bombardier for six Global 6500s with military modifications. The aircraft will join the Canadian Air Force to perform worldwide utility flights and support missions such as aeromedical evacuations, disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and national security operations. According to Bombardier, the Global 6500 is a world-class, made-in-Canada product that will serve Canada’s country. The order supports more than 2,000 workers in the Greater Toronto Area. @RCAF_ARC will support national security operations with the new aircraft.
