US and Israel Strengthen Military Ties with $8.6 Billion F-15IA Deal
Boeing has been awarded an $8.6 billion contract to supply Israel with 25 new F-15IA fighter jets, with the option for 25 more aircraft. The agreement, announced by the US Department of War on December 29, 2025, follows talks between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago. The production will take place at Boeing’s facility in St. Louis, Missouri, and completion is expected by December 31, 2035. The deal mirrors an order by the Israeli Ministry of Defense in November 2024, valued at $5.2 billion and funded through US military aid.
