Archer Unveils Miami eVTOL Network Plans

Electric Air Taxi Flights To Connect Major South Florida Cities

Archer Aviation has announced plans for an electric vehicle takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft network in Miami, connecting major population and business centers. The network will offer travel options between Miami, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale, as well as the region’s three major international airports. Archer is collaborating with Related Ross and Dragon Global to develop vertiports and reconfiguring helipads for eVTOL operations. The company’s eVTOL aircraft, Midnight, is designed to carry four passengers and a pilot, and has the potential to replace 60-90-minute commutes by car with 10-20-minute electric air taxi flights. This development was first reported by AeroTime.
