Japanese Airline Ends Iconic Star Wars Collaboration
ANA Airways has announced the retirement of its C-3PO-themed Boeing 777-200ER, marking the end of the airline’s iconic collaboration with the Star Wars franchise. The aircraft will operate its final flights on January 7-9, 2026, with a special event planned for January 10, 2026. The ANA Star Wars Project, which began in 2015, will officially come to an end on March 31, 2026. The retirement was first reported by AeroTime.
