Long-time Partner Places Fifth Order with Airbus, Deal Includes Conversion Clause

Airbus has secured a firm order for 30 A320neo aircraft from long-time partner China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC). The deal includes a conversion clause, allowing CALC to switch to other variants of the Airbus A320 family aircraft. According to AeroTime, CALC’s remaining Airbus orderbook will rise to 105 aircraft, bringing its total Airbus orders to 282. This milestone marks another repeat order for Airbus from CALC, which has been a valued partner since 2012.
