airBaltic has appointed Erno Hildén as its new CEO, effective December 1, 2025. Pauls Cālītis will resume his duties as COO and Executive Board member. Hildén, a Finnish national with over 25 years of international experience, replaces Martin Gauss, who was dismissed in April 2025. Cālītis managed the airline for seven months as interim CEO.
