French Polynesian Airlines Unite to Simplify Travel to Island Destinations

Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti have signed a codeshare agreement that will simplify travel to popular destinations in French Polynesia, starting June 2, 2026. The arrangement enables international passengers to book single tickets to Bora Bora Airport (BOB) and Rarotonga International Airport (RAR). According to AeroTime, the partnership is part of a broader effort by Air Tahiti Nui to strengthen its joint offering with Air Tahiti, which will be expanded with new routes soon. The codeshare agreement applies initially to two routes: Bora Bora and Rarotonga, with six daily flights operated on ATR72 aircraft to Bora Bora and two weekly flights to Rarotonga.
