Air France Suspends Paris-Manila Flights, Shifts to Seasonal Service

French Carrier Adjusts Route Amid European Summer Season

Air France will suspend direct flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) from May 4 to Oct 12, 2026. The airline recently resumed the route in 2024 after a two-decade absence. According to AeroRoutes, citing Air France’s schedule update, the suspension coincides with the European summer season. Air France currently operates the route three times per week with an average flight time of approximately 14 hours. The Paris-Manila service will continue on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays until May 2026. The return flight AF223 from Manila to Paris will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. AeroTime reports that Air France launched its inaugural nonstop flight to Manila International Airport on December 8, 2024. The route is operated with an Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with 34 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 266 economy seats.
