Avianca Parent to Upgrade Fleet with SES Satellite-Based Internet Service
Abra Group, parent company of Avianca and GOL, plans to upgrade its fleet with SES’ multi-orbit inflight connectivity service. The system, featuring a new ESA antenna, provides reliable broadband connectivity and is already operational on 10 aircraft. According to AeroTime, Enrique Villasenor expects passengers to enjoy fast and dependable internet access at home or anywhere they fly. This investment is in line with the competitive dynamics in Abra Group’s core markets in Latin America.
