ZeroAvia to Introduce Zero-Emission Hydrogen Aircraft in Norway
ZeroAvia has been selected for a €21.4 million EU grant to support the introduction of hydrogen-electric aircraft in Norway. The project will retrofit 15 Cessna Caravan aircraft with ZeroAvia’s ZA600 hydrogen-electric engines and establish a network of zero-emission commercial flights. Operations are planned to commence in 2028. The EU Innovation Fund, financed by EU Emissions Trading System revenues, is one of the world’s largest funding programs for innovative low-carbon technologies.
