Vietnamese Carrier Revives Flights on Con Dao with Chinese Aircraft
Vietjet Air will resume flights on Con Dao with Chinese-made COMAC C909 jets after a month-long suspension. The airline has secured a six-month lease renewal with Chengdu Airlines to reactivate the aircraft, ensuring their return to service. Flights are scheduled to restart on November 25, 2025, with four daily flights. According to Reuters, the arrangement includes aircraft, pilots, and maintenance support. Vietjet is also exploring other COMAC leasing options, pending regulatory review.
