UK Seeks to Boost Trade with Dubai Through Mega-Project Investment

The UK government has announced an investment of up to $3.5 billion in Dubai’s new flagship airport, Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), Breaking AeroTime reports. The project aims to accommodate up to 150 million passengers annually and expand capacity to 260 million by the early 2030s. UK Export Finance is seeking to secure an investment that ensures British companies can participate in the $35 billion expansion of the airport, also known as Dubai World Central (DWC). CEO Suzanne Al Anani welcomed qualified UK suppliers to participate through procurement frameworks, highlighting the opportunity for collaboration.
