Airline Launches New Long-Haul Service with Airbus A350

SWISS International Air Lines has successfully completed its first intercontinental flight with the Airbus A350, operating as LX52. The flight departed Zurich and arrived in Boston, covering a distance of 6,027 kilometers. According to AeroTime, CEO Jens Fehlinger stated that the new A350 marks ’the next step’ in SWISS’s development. Regular scheduled operations will begin soon, with Montreal set to be the second long-haul destination for the aircraft. The airline has also introduced the ‘SWISS Senses’ cabin experience, featuring welcome drinks, refined meals, and premium amenities.
