SWISS Enters New Era of Long-Haul Travel with A350
SWISS successfully completed its first intercontinental flight with the Airbus A350, traveling from Zurich to Boston. The flight, operated as LX52, marked the start of regular scheduled operations for the airline’s new long-haul service. The aircraft, registered as HB-IFA, arrived in Boston with no reported delay. SWISS CEO Jens Fehlinger praised the A350 as a ’next step’ in the airline’s development, citing its technological, commercial, and guest experience benefits. The airline will also offer the ‘SWISS Senses’ cabin experience on long-haul flights.
